Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy explains what information BOLStamp collects, how we use it, and the choices you have. It applies to the BOLStamp website and application.

1. Information you give us

• Account information: email address, password (stored encrypted), and your Account ID.
• Company branding: company name, MC/DOT number, phone, email, address, and logo.
• Documents: the BOL / inspection PDFs you upload for branding.
• Support messages: anything you send us when asking for help.

2. Information collected automatically

To keep the free trial fair and protect the service from abuse, we record limited technical data with each branded document: your IP address, a browser device identifier, browser/user-agent details, and the date and time of use.

We also keep basic security logs of sign-ins and administrative actions.

3. Your documents

BOLStamp does not store your BOLs. An uploaded PDF is processed only to apply your branding, and the branded file is delivered directly to your device. We do not keep a document history, we do not share your documents with third parties, and we never sell them.

4. How we use information

• To create and secure your account and sign you in.
• To brand your documents with your saved company details and logo.
• To count credits, enforce free-trial limits, and prevent abuse.
• To process subscriptions and extra-credit purchases.
• To send account, verification, and billing emails, plus important service notices.
• To provide support and improve the product.

We do not sell your personal information and we do not use it for advertising.

5. Payments

All payments are processed by PayPal. We never see or store your full card number. We receive only a payment confirmation, subscription status, amount, and reference so we can add your credits. PayPal handles your payment data under its own privacy policy.

6. Service providers

We rely on a small number of providers to run BOLStamp: hosting and database infrastructure, email delivery for verification and account messages, and PayPal for payments. They may process your data only on our instructions and only as needed to deliver the service.

7. How long we keep data

• Account and company branding details: while your account is active.
• Uploaded documents: not retained after processing.
• Free-trial usage records (IP, device, timestamp): a short rolling window used to apply the daily limit.
• Payment and credit records: kept as required for accounting and dispute handling.

8. Security

We use encryption in transit, encrypted secret storage, hashed passwords, one-time codes for verification, and per-account access controls so no user can read another user's data. No system is completely secure, but we work hard to protect your information.

9. Your rights and choices

You can view and update your company details at any time, cancel automatic renewal from your Billing page, and request a copy or deletion of your account data by contacting us. Deleting your account removes your profile and branding details; limited payment and abuse-prevention records may be retained where required.

10. Children

BOLStamp is a business tool and is not intended for anyone under 18. We do not knowingly collect information from children.

11. Changes to this policy

If we update this policy, we will change the “Last updated” date above. Continued use of BOLStamp after an update means you accept the revised policy.
